Townsville merupakan sebuah kota di Australia. Letaknya di bagian timurlaut negara itu tepatnya di negara bagian Queensland. Didirikan pada tahun 1865. Penduduknya berjumlah 143.328 jiwa (2006).

Kota ini terletak 1.300 km dari Brisbane dan 350 km selatan Cairns.
