Grand Prix sepeda motor Qatar 2017 adalah babak pertama MotoGP musim 2017. Itu diadakan di Losail International Circuit di Doha pada tanggal 26 Maret 2017. Untuk ketiga kelas, grid awal dibentuk oleh waktu terbaik setiap pembalap dari salah satu dari tiga sesi latihan bebas yang diadakan, setelah hujan membatalkan sesi kualifikasi yang direncanakan.[2]

Dalam balapan MotoGP, Maverick Viñales menang pada balapan pertamanya untuk Yamaha, menjadi pembalap pertama yang melakukannya pada debutnya untuk Yamaha karena rekan setimnya Valentino Rossi melakukan hal yang sama di 2004.

Kelas Moto2 melihat debut dari paket sasis KTM Moto2, mengikuti ekspansi KTM ke Moto2 bersama dengan MotoGP dengan RC16.
