Je (Ј ј; Italik: Ј ј) adalah huruf dari Alfabet Kiril, berasal dari huruf Latin J.[1]

Itu secara umum melambangkan Konsonan hampiran langit-langit /j/, seperti dalam pengucapan dari y dalam "yes".

Sejarah

Huruf Sirilik Je diperkenalkan dalam kamus Serbia tahun 1818 Vuk Stefanović Karadžić, berdasarkan huruf Latin J.[1] Karadžić sebelumnya menggunakan ї untuk suara yang sama, penggunaan yang dia ambil dari Dositej Obradović..[2]
