Recent changes

• The appearance of talk pages changed for the following wikis: Azerbaijani Wikipedia, Bengali Wikipedia, German Wikipedia, Persian Wikipedia, Hebrew Wikipedia, Hindi Wikipedia, Indonesian Wikipedia, Korean Wikipedia, Dutch Wikipedia, Portuguese Wikipedia, Romanian Wikipedia, Thai Wikipedia, Turkish Wikipedia, Ukrainian Wikipedia, Vietnamese Wikipedia. These wikis participated to a test, where 50% of users got the new design, for one year. As this test gave positive results, the new design is deployed on these wikis as the default design. It is possible to opt-out these changes in user preferences ("Tampilkan aktivitas diskusi"). The deployment will happen at all wikis in the coming weeks. [34]
• Seven new wikis have been created:
  • a Wikipedia in Betawi (w:bew:) [35]
  • a Wikipedia in Kusaal (w:kus:) [36]
  • a Wikipedia in Igala (w:igl:) [37]
  • a Wiktionary in Karakalpak (wikt:kaa:) [38]
  • a Wikisource in Burmese (s:my:) [39]
  • a Wikisource in Malay (s:ms:) [40]

• You can now watch message groups/projects on Translatewiki.net. Initially, this feature will notify you of added or deleted messages in these groups. [42]
• Dark mode is now available on all wikis, on mobile web for logged-in users who opt into the advanced mode. This is the early release of the feature. Technical editors are invited to check for accessibility issues on wikis. See more detailed guidelines.

Problems

• Kartographer maps can use an alternative visual style without labels, by using mapstyle="osm". This wasn't working in previews, creating the wrong impression that it wasn't supported. This has now been fixed. [43]

Changes later this week

• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 30 April. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 1 May. It will be on all wikis from 2 May (calendar). [44][45]

Other Noteworthy Stuff

• A new UI mode is available for the online validator for EntitySchemas. It represents validation reports as a table rather than a very long string, and replaces most links with hyperlinks with some of the text behind them; making them easier to read. Currently being tested at https://shex-validator.toolforge.org/packages/shex-webapp/doc/shex-simple-improved.html, we are looking for participants to evaluate this tool. Perubahan terbaru

• Di Wikisource, terdapat sebuah halaman istimewa yang mencantumkan halaman-halaman karya tanpa gambar pindaian yang sesuai. Sekarang, Anda dapat menggunakan kata magis baru __EXPECTWITHOUTSCANS__ untuk mengecualikan halaman tertentu (daftar edisi atau terjemahan karya) dari daftar tersebut. [56]
• Jika Anda menggunakan preferensi pengguna "Tampilkan pratayang tanpa memuat ulang halaman", maka fitur halaman templat "Pratayang halaman dengan templat ini" juga akan bekerja tanpa memuat ulang halaman. [57]
• Peta Kartographer kini dapat menentukan teks alternatif melalui atribut alt=. Hal ini sama dengan penggunaan atribut alt= pada sintaks gambar dan galeri. Pengecualian untuk fitur ini adalah wiki seperti Wikivoyage di mana peta kecilnya bersifat interaktif. [58]

• Halaman hasil pencarian Istimewa:Pencarian sekarang akan menggunakan atribut CSS flex untuk aksesibilitas yang lebih baik, alih-alih menggunakan tabel. Jika Anda memiliki gawai atau skrip yang mengatur hasil pencarian, Anda harus memperbarui skrip Anda dengan struktur HTML yang baru. [62]

Perubahan mendatang
