Gempa Bumi Boumerdes 2003 terjadi pada tanggal 21 Mei 2003 di Aljazair utara.[6][7] Episenter gempa Bumi terletak di kota Thénia[8][1] di Provinsi Boumerdes, kira-kira 60 km dari kota Aljir.[1] Gempa ini adalah gempa terkuat yang menimpa Aljazair selama 20 tahun[9][10] sejak 1980, ketika gempa 7.3 S.R. menyebabkan 3.500 orang tewas.[11]
