Deborah Ann Ryan[1][2](lahir 13 Mei 1993)[3] adalah seorang aktris dan penyanyi asal Amerika Serikat.[4] Ryan mulai berakting di teater profesional pada usia tujuh tahun dan kemudian ditemukan dalam pencarian nasional oleh Disney Channel. Dari tahun 2008 hingga tahun 2011, ia berperan sebagai Bailey Pickett di The Suite Life on Deck dan muncul di Disney Channel Original Movie, 16 Wishes sebagai Abby Jensen yang merupakan program yang paling banyak ditonton pada hari pemutaran perdana.[5][6][7] Ryan juga muncul dalam film independen tahun 2010, What If... sebagai Kim Walker.

Dari tahun 2011 hingga tahun 2015, Ryan berperan sebagai karakter utama di serial televisi Disney Channel, Jessie dan muncul dalam film televisi tahun 2012 Radio Rebel sebagai Tara Adams.[8] Tahun 2018, ia membintangi Patty Bladell di serial Netflix, Insatiable. Ryan lahir di Huntsville, Alabama.[3][10] Ayahnya adalah seorang konsultan sipil untuk militer AS, jadi ia pindah ke berbagai tempat di Eropa. Dia tinggal di Jerman hingga berusia 10 tahun dan dapat berbicara bahasa Inggris dan Jerman. Dia mulai tampil di teater profesional pada usia tujuh tahun di sebuah pangkalan Amerika di Jerman.[11] Ia kembali ke Amerika Serikat pada tahun 2003 dan dibesarkan di Texas.[11][12] Dalam wawancara Majalah People tahun 2009, ia menggambarkan dirinya sebagai "kutu buku" di sekolah.[11] Ia diintimidasi di sekolah menengah karena menjadi maskot dan anggota klub catur sekolah.[13]

Ryan adalah seorang Kristen.[14][15] Ia memainkan beberapa instrumen, termasuk gitar, piano dan keyboard.[16] Ryan menjalin hubungan dengan drummer Twenty One Pilots, Josh Dun dari Mei 2013 hingga September 2014.[17][18] Dalam wawancara pada 10 Maret 2015 dengan Teen Vogue, ia mengungkapkan bahwa hubungannya dengan Dun baik, tetapi ia pernah dalam hubungan yang kasar dengan orang lain.[19] Dia menggambarkan hubungan itu sebagai profesional daripada romantis, tetapi mengatakan "hal itu adalah manipulasi emosional ke titik di mana akan menjadi fisik." Dalam wawancara itu, dia menyatakan bahwa dia memutuskan untuk bermitra dengan Mary Kay dan Love is Respect untuk kampanye anti-kekerasan dalam hubungan "Don't Look Away."
