Forester.^[4] Film tersebut disutradarai oleh John Huston dan diproduksi oleh Sam Spiegel^[5] dan John Woolf. Permainan latarnya diadaptasi oleh James Agee, John Huston, John Collier dan Peter Viertel. Film tersebut difoto menggunakan Technicolor oleh Jack Cardiff dan skor musiknya diurus oleh Allan Gray. Film tersebut dibintangi oleh Humphrey Bogart (yang memenangkan Academy Award untuk Aktor Terbaik – Oscar satu-satunya yang ia dapatkan), dan Katharine Hepburn dengan Robert Morley, Peter Bull, Walter Gotell, Richard Marner dan Theodore Bikel.^[6]
