Oromo (Oromo: Oromoo; bahasa Ge'ez: ኦሮሞ, Oromo) adalah kelompok etnis yang tinggal di Etiopia, Kenya utara, dan sebagian Somalia.^[4] Dengan tiga puluh juta anggota, etnis ini merupakan etnis terbesar di Etiopia dan Tanduk Afrika; berdasarkan sensus tahun 2007, diperkirakan 34,49% penduduk Etiopia merupakan suku Oromo.^[5]^[6]^[7] Persebaran Oromo terkonsentrasi di Region Oromo di Etiopia.

Suku Oromo menuturkan bahasa Oromo, yang merupakan bagian dari cabang Cush rumpun bahasa Afro-Asiatik.
