Roma adalah film drama tahun 2018 yang ditulis dan disutradarai oleh Alfonso Cuarón. Cuarón juga memproduseri, menyunting, dan mengambil gambar film ini. Film ini dibintangi Yalitza Aparicio, Marina de Tavira, Marco Graf, Daniela Demesa, Enoc Leaño, dan Daniel Valtierra. Film ini berlatar pada awal 1970-an dan separuh ceritanya diangkat dari kisah hidup Cuarón di Kota Meksiko. Filmnya bercerita tentang seorang pembantu rumah tangga di keluarga kelas menengah. Judulnya diambil dari nama distrik Colonia Roma di Kota Meksiko.^[4]

Roma tayang pertama kali di Festival Film Internasional Venesia ke-75 tanggal 30 Agustus 2018 dan memenangi Golden Lion. Film ini tayang terbatas pada 21 November 2018 dan dirilis di Netflix tanggal 14 Desember 2018.^[5]^[6] Film ini mendapat banyak pujian dari para kritikus dan dipilih sebagai film terbaik tahun 2018 oleh majalah Time dan New York Film Critics Circle. National Board of Review memasukkan film ini ke daftar sepuluh film terbaik tahun 2018.^[7]^[8] Di Golden Globe Awards ke-76, film ini mendapat nominasi Best Foreign Language Film, Best Director, dan Best Screenplay. Film ini juga dipilih sebagai perwakilan Meksiko dalam Academy Awards ke-91 kategori Best Foreign Language Film^[9]^[10] dan masuk tahap seleksi selanjutnya.^[11]
