Wycliffe Bible adalah nama yang diberikan kepada sekelompok terjemahan Alkitab ke dalam bahasa Inggris Pertengahan yang dibuat di bawah arahan John Wycliffe. Muncul selama periode dari sekitar 1382-1395.[1] Terjemahan Alkitab ini merupakan inspirasi dan penyebab utama gerakan Lollard, yaitu gerakan pra-Reformasi yang menolak banyak ajaran-ajaran khas Gereja Katolik Roma. [sunting | sunting sumber]Pernah dipertanyakan apakah Wycliffe benar-benar menerjemahkan seluruh Alkitab. Dalam kasus apapun, dipastikan bahwa pada abad ke-15 bagian-bagian kitab Suci disebut "Wycliffite".[4]
