Latar belakang

Lowe mengawali debutnya sebagai seorang model. Pada umur 15 tahun, dia dia merintis karier sebagai pemeran. Peran pertama yang dia mainkan adalah sebagai Nya dalam episode Stargate SG-1. Kemudian Lowe membintangi beberapa program televisi populer seperti Masters of Horror, Psych, Supernatural, Stargate: Atlantis, dan The L Word. Pada tahun 2000 adalah kali pertama dia muncul di dunia perfilman saat bermain dalam film Get Carter. Tidak lama setelah itu, dia berperan sebagai Tiffany dalam film horor Children of the Corn: Revelation, Ashlyn Halperin dalam Final Destination 3, Lauren dalam produksi ulang film Black Christmas.
