Fauna Europaea adalah basis data nama ilmiah dan distribusi semua kehidupan multiseluler kawasan Eropa dan hewan air tawar. Basis data ini menjadi dasar taksonomi untuk hewan oleh Pan-European Species directories Infrastructure (PESI).[1]
Pembuatan basis data ini dibiayai oleh Dewan Eropa (2000–2004). Proyek ini merupakan kerjasama dengan Universitas Amsterdam yang diluncurkan pertama kali pada tahun 2004, kemudian basis data nya dipindahkan ke Museum Sejarah Alam, Berlin pada tahun 2015.[1]
