Hal Ashby (2 September 1929-27 Desember 1988) merupakan seorang sutradara berkebangsaan Amerika Serikat yang memenangkan Academy Award. Dia dilahirkan di Ogden, Utah dengan nama William Hal Ashby. Dia berkarier di dunia film sejak tahun 1970.
