Bayangan udara adalah sebuah fenomena optik yang terjadi secara alami di mana pantulan cahaya dapat menghasilkan citra yang tak berada di tempatnya dari objek jarak jauh atau langit. Berbeda dengan halusinasi, bayangan udara adalah fenomena optik sebenarnya yang dapat ditangkap kamera, karena pantulan cahaya sebenarnya membentuk citra palsu di lokasi pengamat.
