Kanawut lahir pada 4 Desember 1997 di [[King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital]], [[Bangkok]], [[Thailand]]. Kanawut menempuh pendidikan awal di Burapha School dan sekolah menengah di [[Suankularb Wittayalai School]], sebuah SMA khusus laki-laki. Ia sedang menempuh pendidikan tinggi di King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), jurusan Teknologi dan Pendidikan Industri.

Gulf Kanawut Traipipattanapong (aksara Thai: คณาวุฒิ ไตรพิพัฒนพงษ์ ; nama panggilan Gulf (aksara Thai: กลัฟ), lahir pada 4 Desember 1997) adalah seorang pemeran dan model berkebangsaan Thailand. Ia dikenal sebagai pemeran “Type” dalam TharnType The series.[1]

Kehidupan pribadi

Kanawut lahir pada 4 Desember 1997 di King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand. Kanawut menempuh pendidikan awal di Burapha School dan sekolah menengah di Suankularb Wittayalai School, sebuah SMA khusus laki-laki dan menempuh pendidikan tinggi di King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), jurusan Teknologi dan Pendidikan Industri dan lulus pada tahun 2020.

Karier

Pada akhir 2019, telah diumumkan[2] bahwa Kanawut akan memerankan "Type" - karakter protagonis utama oleh GMM One dan LINE TV TharnType: The Series.[3][4] Serial ini mendapatkan kepopuleran di Thailand dan juga internasional.[5] "The series would soar to the number one spot of worldwide for ep 11 and 12 Twitter trends".[6]

Popularitas seperti itu dalam serial dan pasangan pemeran utama, telah membuat penggemar menyebut kedua aktor tersebut sebagai "MewGulf" - gabungan dari nama panggilan mereka masing-masing yaitu, Mew dan Gulf.

Kanawut dan lawan mainnya, Suppasit Jongcheveevat memenangkan "Best Kiss Scene" pada LINE TV Awards 2020.[7][8] Suppasit dan Kanawut juga muncul di Harper's Bazaar Thailand edisi Februari, pasangan BL pertama yang melakukannya sepanjang sejarah.[9][10] Karena banyaknya penggemar yang mencoba membaca artikel tersebut, situs Harper's Bazaar Thailand mengalami kendala.[11]

Dengan banyaknya respon positif[12] untuk TharnType, musim kedua pun diumumkan[13] dan audisi akan dimulai pada awal 2020, dengan mulainya produksi pada pertengahan 2020.[14][15][16] 'Due to the global pandemic of novel COVID-19, production was postponed to ensure the safety of the actors and crew' [17]

Suppasit dan Kanawut tampil sebagai bintang tamu di seri 2020 "Why R U?" masing-masing sebagai Tharn dan Type.

Pada 18 Mei 2020, Kanawut mendapatkan verifikasi di Twitter.[18]

Dengan popularitas Kanawut yang terus meningkat, klub penggemarnya dan Suppasit, telah membeli hak untuk menamai bintang mereka.[19]

Pada Agustus 2020 ia bergabung dengan Proyek yang dipimpin oleh GMM Grammy Record Label bernama Boy / Friends bersama 9 artis muda lainnya. Konferensi Pers Solo pertama mereka akan digelar pada 29 September.[20]

Gulf Kanawut juga dikenal sebagai model pria pertama yang tampil di Sampul Majalah L'Officiel Thailand.[21][22]

Dia juga membuat debut internasional dengan Pitnapat Design di Aspara Fashion Week 2020 di mana dia muncul sebagai Showstopper dari koleksi "New Normal". [butuh rujukan]

Gulf Kanawut juga muncul di sampul OK! Majalah Thailand Edisi Agustus dan sedang ditampilkan dalam edisi kolektor edisi Hommes Thailand Hardcover Fall. [butuh rujukan]

24 Agustus 2020, Gulf Kanawut memenangkan penghargaan Rising Star dan Best Young Actor di KAZZ Awards, juga berbagi Best Scene Award dengan Mew Suppasit untuk adegan 'putus' mereka di TharnType The Series.
