Sejarah
[sunting | sunting sumber]James Cook, RN menamai sungai tersebut pada 1770 setelah ia terpaksa melabuhkan kapalnya, HMS Endeavour,[1] untuk perbaikan di mulut sungainya, setelah terbentur di Karang Endeavour.[6] Joseph Banks menamai sungai tersebut Sungai Endeavours[7]
