Menurut KBBI: pitam a pusing kepala (krn darah naik ke kepala): orang pitam orang mabuk; ~ babi sakit ayan epilepsi; ~ otak keadaan yang disebabkan oleh jejas akut pd pembentuk darah otak, spt pendarahan, emboli, dan ditandai dengan pingsan mati, biasanya diikuti dengan kelumpuhan; apoplexicerebri
