Jetix adalah saluran televisi khusus anak - anak yang dikelola oleh The Walt Disney Company. Diluncurkan pada tahun 8 September 1990 sebagai The Fox Kids Network, berganti nama menjadi Fox Children's Network pada tahun 1994. Pada tahun 1999, berganti nama menjadi Fox Kids dan merupakan divisi dari Fox Broadcasting Company. Pada tahun 2002, setelah beberapa sahamnya dialihkan ke 4Kids Entertainment dan The Walt Disney Company, diluncurkan ulang dengan nama Jetix. versi Eropa, Jetix Europe NV tercatat di Bursa Saham Euronext.[1]

Disney XD

Toon Disney dan Jetix resmi bergabung ke dalam jaringan disebut Disney XD pada tanggal 12 Februari 2009. Merek Jetix tidak lagi berlaku di Amerika Serikat. Hal yang sama juga terjadi di Prancis pada 1 April 2009. Dan mulai akhir 2009, Jetix akan diganti namanya menjadi Disney XD versi Eropa, sebagai tanda bahwa Disney XD menjangkau wilayah internasional.[2][3][4]

Sukses membuka situs web Disney XD Amerika Latin pada tanggal 15 Mei 2009, The Walt Disney Company Latin America dan Disney & ESPN Media Networks Latin America merencanakan mengganti nama Jetix Amerika Latin dan Jetix Brazil dengan versi Amerika Latin dari Disney XD. Rencana ini mulai berjalan dan akan selesai setelah penutupan Disney Football Cup.[5] Jetix Amerika Tengah dan Amerika Selatan ditutup pada tanggal 3 Juli 2009.

Jetix versi Kanada dan Jepang resmi ditutup secara bersamaan pada tanggal 1 Agustus 2009, menandakan bahwa merek Jetix tidak lagi diberlakukan di semua negara di Amerika. Pada akhir bulan yang sama, Disney XD International dibuka di Britania Raya.

Sejak bulan September 2009, beberapa saluran di negara tertentu akan digantikan dengan Disney Channel, terbukti karena beberapa saluran Jetix menayangkan blok dari Disney. Jetix Israel adalah saluran Jetix pertama yang melakukan hal tersebut. Jetix di Skandinavia ditutup tanggal 11 September 2009.

Sejak tanggal 1 November 2009, hanya Jetix Eropa versi Belanda saja yang tersisa, menandai akhir dari Jetix sudah mencapai puncak. Menurut perhitungan waktu, Jetix secara penuh menghentikan siaran pada awal tahun tahun 2010.
