Artikel ini merupakan sebuah biografi tokoh yang masih hidup dan harus tunduk pada kebijakan biografi aktual.

Wikipedia bukan jurnalisme tabloid. Wikipedia adalah sebuah ensiklopedia.
- Hati-hati dalam penulisannya, karena membutuhkan sensitivitas.
Berpegang teguh pada tiga pilar kebijakan utama tentang isi:
- Pemastian — setiap bahan yang ditambahkan harus dapat dipastikan kebenarannya dan diperiksa silang ke sumber yang telah diterbitkan pihak lain.
- Sudut pandang netral — ditulis tanpa berat sebelah, mewakili semua sudut pandang.
- Bukan riset asli — artikel harus mengutip sumber yang tepercaya.
Harus ditulis dengan bertanggung jawab, konservatif, dengan nada netral, dan ensiklopedik.
Sumber dari tulisan itu adalah
- Sumber primer — subjek yang bersangkutan
- Sumber sekunder — sumber-sumber yang menyimpulkan tentang si sumber primer
Artikel harus mendokumentasikan dengan gaya yang tidak berpihak:
- apa yang telah dipublikasikan oleh sumber pihak ketiga, dan
- apa yang mungkin pernah dipublikasikan oleh subjek itu tentang diri mereka sendiri.
Hal-hal yang dilarang: (Hapus langsung tanpa perlu diskusi)
- Bahan-bahan tanpa sumber atau kontroversi yang tanpa rujukan
- Bernada kontroversi, yang mungkin bisa membuat subjek sakit hati
- Sumber pihak ketiga
- Informasi spekulatif
- Tanpa sumber
- Materi yang dapat menyebabkan perselisihan, promosi, dan materi yang dilarang oleh subjek

Hati-hati mengenai privasi:
- Pedoman utama adalah "tidak merugikan"

Suntingan oleh subjek artikel
- Subjek dipersilakan untuk mengoreksi ketidakakuratan informasi, untuk membuang materi tak akurat, atau untuk menghindari fitnah.
