Judith Olivia Dench, CH, DBE, FRSA (lahir pada 9 Desember 1934) adalah seorang aktris berkebangsaan Inggris. Dench melakukan debut profesionalnya pada tahun 1957 bersama dengan Old Vic Company. Judith Olivia Dench, CH, DBE, FRSA (lahir pada 9 Desember 1934) adalah seorang aktris berkebangsaan Inggris. Dench melakukan debut profesionalnya pada tahun 1957 bersama dengan Old Vic Company. Pada tahun selanjutnya, ia memainkan beberapa peran dalam drama teater milik Shakespeare seperti Ophelia di Hamlet, Juliet di Romeo and Juliet dan Lady Macbeth di Macbeth. Meskipun hampir seluruh usahanya selama periode ini ia habiskan di teater, ia juga berpartisipasi dalam film dan memenangkan sebuah penghargaan BAFTA Award sebagai Most Promising Newcomer. Ia mendapat banyak review yang baik dari peran utamanya dalam drama musikal Cabaret pada tahun 1968.

Selama dua dekade selanjutnya, Dench membuktikan dirinya sebagai salah satu pemain teater Inggris paling signifikan, bekerja untuk National Theatre Company dan Royal Shakespeare Company. Selama periode ini ia meraih kesuksesan di televisi, dalam serial A Fine Romance dari tahun 1981 sampai tahun 1984, dan pada tahun 1992 dengan membintangi peran dalam serial komedi romantis berjudul As Time Goes By.
