John Lewis Gaddis (lahir 1941 di Cotulla, Texas)[1] adalah sejarawan Perang Dingin dan strategi besar Amerika Serikat[2] yang dijuluki "Dekan Sejarawan Perang Dingin" oleh The New York Times.[3] Ia merupakan Dosen Militer dan Sejarah Angkatan Laut Robert A. Lovett di Universitas Yale.[2] Ia juga merupakan penulis biografi resmi negarawan Amerika Serikat ternama abad ke-20 George F. Kennan.[4] Biografi tersebut memenangi Pulitzer Prize for Biography pada tahun 2012.[5]
