Cole Albert Porter (9 Juni 1891 – 15 Oktober 1964) adalah seorang pencipta lagu dari AS, dilahirkan di Peru, Indiana. Beberapa karyanya yang terkenal adalah musical Kiss Me, Kate (1948) (didasarkan pada The Taming of the Shrew), Fifty Million Frenchmen, dan Anything Goes.

Ia belajar main biola pada usia 6 tahun, piano pada usia 8 tahun, dan menulis operetta pertamanya (dibantu ibunya) pada usia 10 tahun. Porter kemudian bersekolah di Worcester Academy, Yale University, dan lantas Harvard Law School untuk menjadi pengacara, tetapi kemudian pindah ke jurusan seni musik.
