Sher Shah Suri (1486 – 22 Mei 1545) (Persian/bahasa Pashtun: فريد خان شير شاہ سوري – Farīd Xān Šer Šāh Sūrī, nama lahir Farid Khan, dikenal juga sebagai Sher Khan, "Raja Singa") adalah pendiri Kekaisaran Sur di India Utara, dengan ibu kotanya di Delhi.^[3] Sebagai etnis Pashtun, Sher Shah mengambil kekuasaan Kekaisaran Mughal pada 1540. Setelah kematiannya pada 1545, putranya Islam Shah menjadi penggantinya.^[4]^[5]^[6]^[7]^[8]
