Morin mengawali kariernya di Apple pada tahun 2003 sebagai karyawan divisi pemasaran.[2][4][12] Pada tahun 2006, Morin pindah ke Facebook dan menduduki jabatan manajer platform senior.[13][14][15] Morin membantu mengembangkan Facebook Platform, lingkungan perangkat lunak yang memungkinkan pengembang pihak ketiga menciptakan aplikasi di Facebook, dan Facebook Connect, teknologi yang memungkinkan pengguna Facebook menghubungkan data profilnya dengan informasi autentikasi di situs web luar.[4][5][16] Pada tahun 2010, Morin keluar Facebook dan mendirikan Path.[2][17][18][19]

Morin telah membantu mengumpulkan modal untuk perusahaan rintisan seperti Hipcamp melalui skema investor malaikat AngelList.[20]

Filantropi

Morin merupakan salah satu penyumbang badan amal charity:water, lembaga nirlaba yang menyediakan air minum bersih kepada penduduk negara berkembang.[19][21] Tahun 2012, Morin diangkat sebagai ketua San Francisco Snow Ball. Organisasi tersebut mengumpulkan dana untuk mendanai pelatihan, perlombaan, dan kebutuhan pengembangan sepanjang tahun untuk para atlet U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Snowboarding, dan U.S. Freeskiing.[9] Morin pernah menjadi ketua kampanye Teach for America Benefit Dinner and for the Challenge for Tomorrow’s Leaders 2013.[22]

Politik

Pada tahun 2013, Morin dan sejumlah inovator, pencipta, dan pemilik perusahaan teknologi meluncurkan Fwd.us, kelompok lobi yang berpusat di Silicon Valley.[23][24]

Kehidupan pribadi

Morin menetap di San Francisco, California bersama istrinya, Brit Morin, pendiri dan CEO Brit + Co.. Morin yang gemar bermain ski pernah menjadi pemain ski downhill terbaik di Amerika Serikat dan masih menjadi relawan di U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation.[4][25]
