Perang Uruguay[A] (10 Agustus 1864 – 20 Februari 1865) adalah pertempuran antara Partai Blanco yang memerintah Uruguay dan sebuah aliansi yang terdiri dari Kekaisaran Brasil dan Partai Colorado dari Uruguay, yang didukung oleh Argentina.

Pada April 1864, Brasil mengirim Menteri Plenipotentiari José Antônio Saraiva untuk bernegosiasi dengan Atanasio Aguirre, yang menggantikan Berro di Uruguay.
