Keuskupan Lutsk pertama kali didirikan pada abad ke-13 sebagai keuskupan Luceoria o Łuck. Setelah kemenangan Napoleon, keuskupan tersebut digabung dengan keuskupan Zytomir dan Zytomirsk, menjadi keuskupan Lutzk, Zhitomir dan Kamenetz.[1] Pada 1925, keuskupan Lutsk direstorasi dan Keuskupan Zytomir dipisah.[2][3]
