Ia lahir pada tanggal 11 juli 1966 di Kota Caloocan dari pasangan Eugenio dan Pilar Sanchez.[7][8]

Ia mulai berkhotbah di kelompok dewasa pada usia 13 tahun.[9] Dia telah menerbitkan sekitar 27 buku dan 7 majalah.[10] Pada tahun 2006 dia menerima penghargaan The Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) bidang Pengabdian Masyarakat.[11] Pada tahun 2007, ia menerima Serviam Award, penghargaan tertinggi yang dapat diberikan kepada praktisi awam dari Catholic Mass Media Awards.[7] Ia menerbitkan sebuah majalah bernama "Kerygma" yang telah disiarkan ke dalam sebuah acara televisi di RPN 9.[12] Dia juga menjadi pemandu sebuah acara studi Alkitab, Gabay sa Biblia sa Radyo di Radio Veritas.[13]
