Dr. Leonel Antonio Fernández Reyna (lahir 26 Desember 1953) adalah Politikus Dominika dan Presiden saat ini. Ia lahir di Santo Domingo, tetapi menghabiskan masa kanak-kanaknya serta masa pertumbuhannya di Kota New York, Amerika Serikat.
Ia bergabung dengan PLD (lihat lebih jauh di bawah) sejak pembentukannya pada 1973, ketika mendiang Juan Bosch meninggalkan partai PRD untuk membentuk partai yang baru. Fernández adalah seorang murid yang dekat dengan Bosch, dan diajukan sebagai calon wakil presiden bersama Bosch pada pemilihan presiden 1994.
