Koale dibesarkan dalam keluarga religius dan secara teratur tampil dalam gereja, sebelum berhubungan dengan perusahaan teater, Massive Company. Selama waktunya bekerja dengan Massive, Beulah telah tampil di pertunjukan terkenal Havoc in the Garden pada tahun 2011, dan The Brave pada tahun 2012.[4]
