Harga lahan yasan berhubungan dengan penilaian (keuangan) dan terdapat tiga metode utama: penaksiran dengan properti seperti itu, perbandingan nilai kapitalisasi dengan properti penghasil keuntungan, dan nilai diskon dari arus uang yang akan datang.
Setelah harga asli diperkirakan, dicatat atau dilaporkan, terdapat dua cara utama di mana harga rumah seluruhnya dilaporkan: median dan mean (rata-rata). Harga juga dihitung berdasarkan kaki persegi, menggunakan harga median dan mean. Harga lahan yasan memiliki dampak mendalam terhadap urban, juga pinggiran kota dan pedesaan. Penaksiran harga rumah paling penting oleh pemerintah di Amerika Serikat adalah indeks harga rumah. Harga rumah median berada di wilayah metro dan daerah di AS menurut National Association of Realtors.[1]
