David Copperfield atau The Personal History, Adventures, Experience and Observation of David Copperfield the Younger of Blunderstone Rookery (which he never meant to publish on any account)^[1] adalah novel karangan Charles Dickens yang pertama kali diterbitkan tahun 1850. Seperti hampir semua karyanya (kecuali lima di antaranya), David Copperfield pertama kali muncul dalam bentuk cerita bersambung (diterbitkan bulanan).

Dickens mengerjakan David Copperfield selama dua tahun antara 1848 dan 1850, dan dengan teliti merencanakan alur dan struktur novel tersebut.

Kisah David Copperfield hampir seluruhnya dituturkan dari sudut pandang orang pertama, yaitu David Copperfield sendiri, dan merupakan novel pertama Dickens yang menggunakan teknik ini. Novel tersebut digolongkan sebagai Bildungsroman, dan berpengaruh besar dalam genre tersebut. Novel dalam genre ini termasuk novel Dickens sendiri Great Expectations (1861), novel Charlotte Bronte Jane Eyre, novel Thomas Hardy Jude the Obscure, novel Samuel Butler The Way of All Flesh, novel H. G. Wells Tono-Bungay, novel D. H. Lawrence Sons and Lovers, dan A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man karangan James Joyce.
