Trombin (bahasa Inggris: Thrombin,[1] Factor II, FII) adalah sejenis glikoprotein yang dibentuk oleh dan disimpan dalam hati. Sekresi protrombin ke dalam plasma darah terjadi karena stimulasi dari tromboplastin dan ion kalsium pada proses koagulasi.[2] Dalam proses tersebut, protrombin kemudian dikonversi menjadi trombin[3] oleh protrombinase.[4] Lebih lanjut, trombin akan mengkonversi fibrinogen menjadi fibrin.[4]
Vitamin K merupakan senyawa organik yang sangat penting pada sintesis protrombin.[4][5]
