Rage Against the Machine adalah nama grup musik asal Los Angeles (Amerika Serikat) yang mengusung ramuan musik funk, hip-hop dan metal. Group ini terbentuk pada tahun 1990. Rage Against the Machine terdiri dari Zack de la Rocha (vokalis), Tom Morello (gitaris), Brad Wilk (dramer) dan Tim Commerford (basis). Pada tahun 1992 mereka mengeluarkan album perdananya dengan lagu andalan Bullet in the Head, Killing in the Name dan Bombtrack ke penggemar musik dunia.
Setelah mengikuti tur Lollapalooza, Group Band ini kembali merilis album kedua, Evil Empire (1996) dengan lagu Andalan Bulls on Parade. Album berikutnya, Battle of Los Angeles menghasilkan penghargaan dobel platinum dan menempati posisi pertama album terlaris di Amerika. Namun setelah merilis Album Renegades pada tahun 2000, pada Oktober tahun itu juga, Zack De La Rocha mengundurkan diri. Para personel Rage Against the Machine yang tersisa lantas berkolaborasi dengan pentolan grup band Soundgarden dan Chris Cornell dalam formasi Audioslave dan merilis album debut, November 2002.
Kembalinya Zack de La Rocha
RATM hidup lagi! Audioslave bubar. Pada 29 April 2007, Zack de la Rocha Kembali tampil dalam acara Coachella, di California dan membawakan kembali lagu-lagu lama mereka. Meski begitu belum jelas apakah mereka akan mengeluarkan album.
