Karier

Sungkyung memulai kariernya di industri hiburan dengan debut sebagai model. Ia mengikuti kompetisi 17th Korea Super Model Contest pada tahun 2008 dan berada di urutan ke-11, serta membawa pulang "Lex Prize". Selain itu, ia juga menerima "Unix Hair New Style Prize" di 2nd Asia-Pacific Super Model Contest pada tahun 2009 dan menempati posisi ke-5.[1][2][3][4] Pada tahun 2014, Sungkyung menjadi model pertama yang memulai debutnya sebagai aktris di bawah kolaborasi antara YG Entertainment dan K-Plus dengan menjadi pemeran pendukung di drama televisi It's Okay, That's Love.[5][6][7] Kemudian ia membintangi Queen's Flower pada tahun 2015, Cheese in the Trap dan Doctors pada tahun 2016.[8][9] Sungkyung mendapatkan peran utama pertamanya dalam drama Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo yang tayang pada November 2016.[10]
