Pamatan adalah nama dari sebuah kota yang belum ditemukan di Pulau Lombok, Indonesia dan ibukota kerajaan Lombok. Kota tersebut hancur akibat letusan Samalas 1257 pada tahun 1257.[1] Meskipun keluarga kerajaan dan rajanya dikabarkan selamat, kota tersebut lenyap dari catatan sejarah.[2] Jika kota tersebut ditemukan kembali, kota tersebut dapat menjadi "Pompeii dari Timur" dan memberikan petunjuk soal bagaimana masyarakat menanggapi bencana vulkanik.[3]
