Kuliah dalam Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia mempunyai arti "pelajaran yang diberikan" atau "ceramah". Namun istilah "kuliah" sering dipahami sebagai kegiatan belajar-mengajar di jenjang pendidikan tinggi.
Jenis kuliah di perguruan tinggi
Terdapat berbagai jenis/kategori kuliah di perguruan tinggi, sesuai dengan waktu kuliahnya atau peserta kuliahnya, antara lain:
- kuliah reguler;
- kuliah karyawan;
- kuliah khusus;
- kuliah sabtu minggu; dan sebagainya.
