Maximus Planudes (bahasa Yunani: Μάξιμος Πλανούδης, Máximos Planoúdēs; skt. 1260 - 1305[1][a]) adalah seorang biarawan, cendekiawan, antologis, penerjemah, matematikawan, filolog dan teolog Bizantium di Konstantinopel. Melalui terjemahannya dari bahasa Latin ke bahasa Yunani dan dari bahasa Yunani ke bahasa Latin, dia membawa Timur Yunani dan Latin Barat ke dalam hubungan yang lebih dekat satu sama lain. Dia sekarang paling dikenal sebagai penyusun Antologi Yunani.[3]
Dia tercatat sebagai salah satu orang pertama yang menggunakan kata "juta".[4]
