Sophie Ellis-Bextor

Sophie Ellis-Bextor (lahir 10 April 1979 di London) adalah seorang penyanyi asal Inggris. Musiknya tergolong jenis genre pop, indie, disko, dan electronik 1980-an.

Sophie adalah anak dari pasangan Robin Bextor dan Janet Ellis. Keduanya cerai saat Sophie berusia empat tahun. Karir musik Sophie bermula saat ia bergabung dengan grup musik theaudience. Pada tahun 2000 — setahun setelah grup itu bubar — Sophie merilis single perdana berjudul "Groovejet (If This Ain't Love)", suatu kolaborasi dengan DJ Spiller. Sophie telah merilis dua album: Read My Lips (2001) dan Shoot from the Hip (2003). Sejak tahun 2002, ia tiga kali berturut-turut dinominasikan dalam kategori "Artis Solo Wanita Britania Raya" pada ajang Brit Awards. Sophie menikah dengan Richard Jones dan memiliki seorang anak.
