Guy Fawkes (13 April 1570 – 31 Januari 1606) seorang ekstremis Katolik Roma yang dikenal karena usahanya untuk meledakkan gedung parlemen Inggris pada 5 November 1605.[2][3] Usaha tersebut gagal dan Guy Fawkes adalah satu-satunya orang yang dipergoki dengan membawa 100 kg bubuk mesiu.[4] Guy Fawkes dihukum mati karena tindakannya.[4] Malamnya Guy Fawkes dan beberapa rekannya mencoba meledakkan gedung parlemen Inggris terkenal sebagai Plot Bubuk Mesiu (Gunpowder Plot) dan kini diperingati sebagai Malam Guy Fawkes dan dirayakan dengan memasang kembang api.[3]
