Pangeran Ōyama Iwao, OM (大山 巌, 12 November 1842 – 10 Desember 1916) adalah seorang panglima tertinggi Jepang, dan salah satu pendiri Angkatan Darat Kekaisaran Jepang.
Nama komunitas Oyama, British Columbia, Kanada berasal dari nama Pangeran Ōyama Iwao.[1]

Kehidupan awal
Ōyama lahir di Kagoshima dari sebuah keluarga samurai di Domain Satsuma.
