Mandat Laut Selatan (南洋庁, Nan'yō-chō) adalah mandat Liga Bangsa-Bangsa Jepang yang terdiri dari beberapa kelompok kepulauan (sekarang Palau, Kepulauan Mariana Utara, Negara Federasi Mikronesia, dan Kepulauan Marshall) di Samudera Pasifik yang berada dibawah administrasi Jepang setelah kekalahan Kekaisaran Jerman pada Perang Dunia I.[1]

Dibawah istilah Aliansi Inggris-Jepang, setelah Perang Dunia I dimulai, Jepang mendeklarasikan perang atas Jerman pada 23 Agustus 1914.[2]
