Frederick adalah county seat dari Frederick County, county terbesar di Negara bagian Maryland. Frederick adalah bagian dari Washington-Arlington-Alexandria, DC-VA-MD-WV Metropolitan Statistical Area yang termasuk dalam Washington-Baltimore-Northern Virginia, DC-MD-VA-WV Combined Statistical Area.
