Oomoto (大本 Ōmoto)[1] juga dikenal sebagai Oomoto-kyo (大本教 Ōmoto-kyō), adalah sebuah sekte, yang sering dikategorisasikan sebagai agama Jepang baru yang berasal dari Shinto; sekte tersebut didirikan pada 1892 oleh Deguchi Nao (1836–1918). Pemimpin spiritual pada gerakan tersebut umumnya adalah wanita; namun, Deguchi Onisaburō (1871–1948) dianggap figur berpengaruh dalam Oomoto sebagai seorang seishi (guru spiritual).
