FIA World Endurance Championship musim 2016 akan menjadi musim kelima dari FIA World Endurance Championship balap mobil seri ini diselenggarakan oleh Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) dan Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). Seri ini terbuka untuk Le Mans Prototype dan grand tourer mobil memenuhi empat kategori ACO. musim dimulai di Sirkuit Silverstone pada bulan April dan berakhir di Sirkuit Internasional Bahrain pada bulan November, dan termasuk menjalankan 84th 24 Hours of Le Mans.

ACO mengumumkan kalender sementara selama 2015 6 Hours of Circuit of the Americas pada bulan September 2015. Kalender mempertahankan delapan putaran dari 2015, tapi menambahkan 6 Hours of Mexico City di sirkuit Autódromo Hermanos Rodriguez. World Sportscar Championship sebelumnya mengunjungi Mexico City pada tahun 1991. Nürburgring putaran telah dipindahkan satu bulan ke depan untuk Juli untuk menutup kesenjangan setelah Le Mans.

Perubahan Teknisi

FIA telah memperkenalkan sejumlah perubahan pada mobil LMP1 untuk 2016 untuk mengurangi kecepatan mereka.
