VeggieTales adalah seri film animasi komputer anak-anak yang berasal dari Amerika Serikat, dengan tokoh utama buah-buahan dan sayur-sayuran antropomorfis, mengunggah cerita-cerita bertema moral Kristen. Sebagian besar episode mengambil kisah Alkitab yang dikemas dan dibumbui rujukan humor pada budaya populer. Seri ini dikembangkan oleh Big Idea Entertainment dan dimiliki oleh Universal Pictures melalui anak perusahaan, DreamWorks Classics dari DreamWorks Animation.[2]

Sejarah

VeggieTales diciptakan oleh Phil Vischer dan Mike Nawrocki melalui perusahaan mereka "Big Idea Productions". Tujuannya adalah untuk menghasilkan video anak-anak yang menyampaikan tema moral Kristen dan mengajarkan nilai-nilai alkitabiah. Cerita animasi melibatkan karakter-karakter buah-buahan dan sayur-sayuran yang rutin hadir, yang tinggal pada suatu meja dapur.
