Kadaverina adalah suatu senyawa diamina berbau busuk yang dihasilkan melalui pembusukan jaringan hewan. Kadaverina merupakan diamina beracun[1] dengan rumus NH2(CH2)5NH2, yang mirip dengan putresina. Kadaverina juga dikenal dengan nama 1,5-pentanadiamina dan pentametilendiamina.
Sejarah
Putresina[2] dan kadaverina[3] pertama kali dilaporkan pada 1885 oleh dokter Berlin, Ludwig Brieger (1849–1919).[4]
