Verethragna (vərəθraγna) adalah nama dewa dalam kepercayaan Iran kuno. Dewa ini bertarung melawan kejahatan dan juga mengalahkannya. Dewa ini disebutkan beberapa kali dalam kitab Avesta dan memiliki berbagai bentuk, seperti angin ribut, manusia atau burung dengan buku yang memiliki pelindung sihir. Dewa ini mirip dengan dewa Indra dalam kepercayaan Hindu. Setelah Persia ditaklukan oleh Aleksander yang Agung, mulai muncul sinkretisme agama yang memadukan Verethragna dengan Herakles.
Verethragna juga merupakan kata benda netral dalam bahasa Avestan yang secara harfiah berarti "penghantaman perlawanan".[1][2] Konsep ini mewakili keilahian Verethragna sebagai perlambang "kemenangan".[2]
