Hachinohe (八戸市code: ja is deprecated , Hachinohe-shi) adalah sebuah kota yang terletak di bagian timur laut prefektur Aomori, Jepang. Pada 1 Juni 2019, kota ini memiliki perkiraan populasi 223,666 dan kepadatan penduduk 732 orang per km². Total wilayah kota adalah 305.56 km².

Iklim

Meskipun Hachinohe terletak hampir di ujung utara pulau Honshu, iklimnya tergolong sejuk sepanjang tahun. dengan sedikit salju di musim dingin dan hangat yang panjang di musim panas.

Transportasi

Transportasi umum berupa bus, taksi, kereta listrik, kapal feri (tujuan Hokkaido), dan si "supercepat" Shinkansen.

Hachinohe memilik pelabuhan laut yg cukup besar, merupakan pelabuhan laut terbesar di Jepang setelah Yokohama. Jika Yokohama terkenal dengan pelabuhan barang-barang ekspor-impornya, maka Hachinohe terkenal dengan produksi ikan terbesar di Jepang.
