Meskipun Hachinohe terletak hampir di ujung utara [[Honshu|pulau Honshu]], iklimnya tergolong sejuk sepanjang tahun. dengan sedikit salju di musim dingin dan hangat yang panjang di musim panas. |

Transportasi umum berupa [[bus]], [[taksi]], [[kereta listrik]], [[kapal feri]] (tujuan Hokkaido), dan si "supercepat" [[Shinkansen]]. |
