World Lacrosse (WL), sebelumnya bernama Federation of International Lacrosse, adalah induk organisasi olahraga lacrosse. Induk organisasi olahraga ini didirikan pada tahun 2008 dengan menggabungkan asosiasi lacrosse wanita ( International Federation of Women's Lacrosse Associations) dan asosiasi lacrosse pria (International Federation of Lacrosse) yang sebelumnya terpisah.[1] Kantor pusat dari induk organisasi olahraga tersebut terletak di Colorado Springs, Colorado, Amerika Serikat.[2]
World Lacrosse memiliki 67 negara anggota.[3] World Lacrosse menjadi satu-satunya induk organisasi olahraga internasional mengakui komunitas masyarakat adat yakni kelompok masyarakat ''First Nations'' dan Suku Indian sebagai bangsa yang berdaulat.[4] Dalam hal ini, tim nasional lacrosse Iroquois, baik pria maupun wanita, merupakan representasi dari masyarakat Iroquois atau Haudenosaunee yang bermukim di negara bagian New York dan Ontario.
World Lacrosse mendapatkan status pengakuan sementara dari Komite Olimpiade Internasional pada bulan November 2018.[5]
Pada bulan Mei 2019, Federation of International Lacrosse mengubah nama induk organisasi olahraga tersebut dengan nama World Lacrosse.[6]
